Environment & Wildlife
Burke Lakefront Airport is dedicated to the health and well-being of our local fowl and wildlife. That’s why, in an effort to eliminate harmful aircraft-wildlife strikes, the Cleveland Airport System is contracted with the United States Department of Agriculture to control wildlife in the area. A fulltime Wildlife Biologist is on staff at all times to humanely handle any animals found on or near the airport, so that we can safely maintain the nature and wildlife that make our complex unique.
